The Black Rain (cyptocurrency) project focuses on the material and immaterial duality of cryptocurrencies and the volatile nature of NFTs in the context of the internet.
On the one hand, it gives corporeality to currencies that have no physical form, “minting” bizum, etherum and other currencies that are operating on the web. And on the other hand, the NFT is posed on the currency itself as an exercise in critique of the medium itself, the black money, the uncontrolled money that moves online through digital assets.
The currency is immersed in a black liquid and comes out again in a continuous process, as a representation of the new anonymous and volatile fiscal paradise that is this non-tangible space.
A reflection on the medium itself and the corporeality of something that has none. Two planes, the physical and the virtual that converge in this series of pieces with a tautological character and that divert the plane of the work of art to spaces that have not yet been explored.
